H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Navasse , flutes<\/strong> H\u00e9l\u00e8ne is flutist in Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen. She is former co-solo flutist from Aarhus Symphony Orchestra.
She studied in France where she comes from, and won the solo position in Ensemble Polychromie when she was 18. H\u00e9l\u00e8ne is recognised as “a catalisator for the new music, an inspiration for composers” and has numerous pieces dedicated to her, often with multiples flutes. With a particular passion for contemporary music, she has collaborated with ensembles such as Klang Forum Wien, MusikFabrik, Schoenberg Ensemble, Caput and Ensemble Intercontemporain. She has also performed as a soloist and chamber musician from USA to Japan, and Island to Libanon.
H\u00e9l\u00e8ne holds soloist degrees from both Amsterdam Music Conservatorium and The Royal Danish Conservatorium.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLiza\u201d has been affiliated with Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen since 2010 and has been a permanent member since 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to her membership in Athelas, Liza regularly performs with major orchestras such as the Royal Danish Orchestra, the Odense Symphony Orchestra, and the Malm\u00f6 Symphony Orchestra. She was previously member of the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana under Lorin Maazel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Liza studied at Indiana University and the Manhattan School of Music under Joseph Robinson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna Klett, clarinets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anna is member of Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen, as well as member in the ensembles Figura and the duo klettWOOD. She is a co-founder of the Faroese chamber ensemble Aldub\u00e1ran. Anna has also received several awards, including the Danish Composers\u2019 Association\u2019s Musician Prize (2002) and the Danish Music Critics\u2019 Circle\u2019s Artist Prize (2003).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anna graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Music (DKDM) studying with J\u00f8rgen Musser and Bent Neuchs, and received a Premier Prix from the Conservatoire de Musique de Gen\u00e8ve, where she studied with Thomas Friedli.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ignas Ma\u017evila , fagot <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ignas is member of Athelas Sinfonieta Copenhagen and solo bassoonist of the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra. He has been the principal bassoonist of the Danish Chamber Orchestra <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a guest principal bassoonist, he has performed with orchestras such as the Rotterdam Philharmonic, Singapore Symphony, Kremerata Baltica, Gothenburg Symphony, Copenhagen Philharmonic, Danish National Symphony, Mahler Jugendorchester, EUYO, Iceland Symphony, HALL\u00c9 Symphony, and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A highly regarded chamber musician, his name appears at festivals like Lockenhaus in Austria, Festival International de Musique de Chambre en Charente in France, Kalmarsund Summer Festival in Sweden, Fej\u00f8 Chamber Music Festival in Denmark, and Helsinki Chamber Music Festival in Finland. He has collaborated with artists such as Gidon Kremer, Alessandro Carbonare, and Dora Seres, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Born into a musical family in Vilnius, Lithuania, Ignas studied at the National M.K. \u010ciurlionis School of Arts with A. An\u010derevi\u010dius. He furthered his studies with Prof. Asger Svendsen at the Malm\u00f6 Academy of Music, Prof. Eckart H\u00fcbner at the UDK Berlin, and Prof. Ole Kristian Dahl at MUHO Mannheim.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

After studying with Frank Brouns and Hans Dullaert at the conservatory in Groningen, Joke Wijma continued her studies at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik und Theater in Hamburg, where the Dutch horn player Ab Koster was a professor. After graduating in 2004, she continued studying with Koster while also working as an intern with the Duisburg Philharmonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
